Week 13 Day 1
S- Proverbs 31:31 "Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate."
O- She is rewarded for all of her hard work by her family, outsiders, and God!
A- If I work hard the reward is great!
P- Dear God, thank you so much for showing me that there is a great reward for working hard for you, my family, and others. Please help me to keep my priorities in check and that I am working hard for the right reasons. First to bring glory to you, to bless my family, and to leave enough of me to pour into others. Thank you for the praise I have seen from Luke during this study. Thank you for helping me to work harder than before. Thank you for continually making me better. All good in me is from you. Praise to you!
Week 13 Day 2
S- Proverbs 14:23 "All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty."
Proverbs 27:18 "The one who guards a fig tree will eat its fruit, and whoever protects their master will be honored."
O- Working hard produces reward. Only talking about doing something gets nothing.
A- Be eager to work hard and I will be blessed for it. Don't just talk about or think about what needs to be done, but follow through. One thing at a time. Don't be lazy.
P- Thank you God that hard work brings a profit. Thank you for showing me the reward that comes from being eager with my hands. Thank you for each of these women sharing their experiences and strengths and struggles so we can all learn from each other. Thank you for their love for you and that they want to be better for you. Thank you for placing them in this group. In your name I pray, Amen!
Week 13 Day 3
S- Acts 13:22 "After removing Saul, he made David their king. God testified concerning him: ‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.’"
O- Doing the things God wants me to do will please Him.
A- Do all things for God. Remember He is always present.
P- Dear God, I pray that I keep you in mind in all things I do. Only to bring glory to you. I thank you for your forgiveness for the many times I have and will mess up. Thank you for making me better. My heart is yours. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
Week 13 Day 4
S- Proverbs 27:2 "Let someone else praise you, and not your own mouth; an outsider, and not your own lips."
O- Do not boast.
A- Don't brag about myself. My attitude should reflect my love for God.
P- God, I pray that my words are not boastful. Also, that I don't do things to please others just so they will praise me. I pray that my attitude reflects my love for you and that I will do all things to please you. It is not about what I do, but what you have done. Change my heart to be more like you. Thank you for hearing my prayers. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
