Thankful for Niesha and Zack

Niesha,

So, I know I’ve brought this story up a million times to you, but one of my first memories of you is how much I loved your name even as a little girl!  So much so, that I named my favorite kitten after you!  I’m thankful for your cute name!

I’m thankful for the love that your big sister (I think it was Shana) had for you, walking you home from school.  That’s when I learned your name.  I was probably outside standing on one of the big rocks asking if you’d be my friend.  My mom tells me that’s what I would do.  Beg for friends.  haha

I’m thankful that I came to know you a little better through the years.  Seriously, you are so cute and fun!

I’m thankful for your fun, creative blog!  Lately, I especially love your Changing Table Tuesdays for your fun candid moments with the babe.

I’m thankful you got such a sweet baby girl!  I’ve been praying that you’d get a sweet baby!  You so deserve baby Kai!  You are such a sweet Mama!  Praise God for giving you this little blessing!

I’m so thankful for you posting about sweet, sweet Isabella!  I can’t tell you how amazing you are for having the courage and strength to post about her, to make us all so much more grateful for the things we sometimes take for granted.

I’m thankful for the advance in medicine.  That we have come so far and we are able to do so much more.  I’m so thankful for the opportunity you have been given to be able to have your adorable baby girl.  Kai is so cute!  And such a girly girl already!

I’m thankful you have a husband that loves you and is just as in love with your baby girl as you are.  Or should I say, was so in love with her before she was even here.  I loved when you posted that he bought her that cute little outfit when you found out you were having a girl!

I love your home.  You have great style!  I remember your Christmas post with your big beautiful tree.  How fun!  I’m sure our babies will love the Christmas lights on our trees this year!  I can’t wait!

I’m thankful for your talent in photography!  I love it so much!  I love your puppy pics and the fun you have!  I love all your pics of your baby and even your random ones!

Niesha,  I can’t tell you how thankful I am for you posting about Isabella and the joy you now have with baby Kai!  I’m so, so happy for you!

Luke 18:16  “But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”

Thankful for Heather and Cole

Heather,

I’m thankful that you married my cousin Cole!  You guys are so cute!

I’m thankful for your adorable little girls and the love you have for your family!

I’m thankful that I got to sit by Brylee and Cole at the Prom last year.  She is so funny!  And I have always loved Cole.  I think she gets some of her humor from, her Daddy.

I’m thankful that we have close babies too!  I feel like I have posted this so many times already.  Lots of new babies lately!  I LOVE it!

I’m thankful that we have some of the same friends and grew up in the same area.  It’s so fun for me to read about the times you go home and see pictures of old friends or click on their blogs from your page now and then.

I love that Brylee is such a girly girl!  She is such a ham!!  I love all your silly pics of her.  She cracks me up!

I love all your pictures of Grandma Camille and even Grandpa Dugan (I remember him as Dale).  And all the cousins!  It’s so much fun to see everyone having fun with your babies!

I also love that even though Brylee is so girly, she loves being on the farm!  What a cutie!

I love seeing the fun things you do with your girls (so far mostly Brylee, of course).  You girls have so much fun!  I’m excited to see the fun you have with little Lilly, too!

I love your monthly pictures you take of your girls.  It’s so fun to see them grow!

Thankful for Tosha and Matt

Tosha, (Private Blog)

I am thankful that you are one of the first people I met when I moved back to my Dad’s.  I remember in 8th grade meeting (I think I met Trina first) and then said hi to you and you were like “Who is this girl?!"  I didn’t realize you were twins.  That’s my first (embarrassing) memory of you!

I am thankful for my memories of you during high school and the fun times we had even though we weren’t the closest friends.  I always thought you and Trina were so cute!

I am thankful for your blog and seeing your super cute kids growing up.

I love the name Allie with all my heart!  I wish Luke would fall in love this name too!  I have always called my “make believe” baby girl, Allie.  I think it is so cute!

I love your kids’ blonde hair!  So cute!

I love that you got your kids’ pictures taken all together as well as Allie’s individual.  So fun!  I love pictures!

I’m thankful that we have kids so close together to see them grow up and I can see what I have to look forward to with Zac!

I”m so thankful that you post more often than me!  So, I CAN see what I have to look forward to with Zac.  You motivate me to post more often!  Really, thank you for posting!  I look forward to them!

I’m thankful that you are a cancer survivor wife!  God bless you and the struggles you have endured!  I’m so thankful that Matt is a survivor!

I’m thankful for blogs and the way that we are able to use our blogs as a journal for our kids to look back at and see our memories!  What a blessing!  I love being able to post blogs for family and friends to see, but more for my babies to see as they grow up!

Thankful for Julia and Chet

Julia,

First, I must say how much it shows that you love your little guy so much!  All the fun pictures and updates are so cute!  I’m thankful for that!

I’m thankful for your love for your family, Chet, Keldon, and both your family and your in-laws!  That is awesome!

I’m thankful for your brother serving our country and all the others that do so!  What a blessing they all are to us!  I know so many of us take for granted the freedom we have in our country without even thinking about those who are making it all possible.

I’m thankful for your group of friends and all the fun things you do together.  I love your friends posts.  You guys have so much fun!  I love it!

I’m thankful for your love for photography!  It’s so much fun and great to capture moments that will be memories that last forever.

I remember your wedding day and how sweet you were giving me a big hug.  Weird, I know.  I’m thankful for that.

I love your relationship with Keldon.  That you two are so close.  I love it!  I hope Zac and I are close too!  It’s such a sweet relationship!

I love your new house and your decorating.  It looks so great!  What a blessing to have the beautiful views you do!

I’m thankful for you posting the views you have, and the fun you have in Sanpete.  It makes me feel “at home”.  It’s so fun for me to see!

I’m thankful you are friends with Angie, JanaKaye (did I slaughter her name spelling, which would be funny, because when I was little playing house I always called myself JanaKaye because I thought her name was so cool!  NERD!), and Janice.  It’s fun for me to see pics of my family, since I never see them anymore!  They totally need blogs!

Zac’s First Halloween!

After searching for the perfect costume for Zac’s first Halloween, I saw a Mario costume and thought how easy it would be to make it myself.  He had a red onesie, and blue pants.  I bought the red hat and stuck the “M” and suspenders on with velcro.  Cha ching!  We have the cutest little Mario I’ve ever seen!  The best part is that the mustache didn’t even bug him.  It was so funny.  He’d just hang out in his mustache like he grew it himself.  So cute!SANY0117aWe dressed up about a million times it felt like and by Halloween, Zac was so over being Mario!  Wednesday, we had our playgroup and the kids dressed up.  We took him to Grandma Darlene’s to show off his costume.  SANY0011Have I said how much he loves his Daddy?! SANY0012 SANY0013 SANY0015a SANY0018a SANY0019 SANY0022a SANY0025aIMG_8658 Friday I took him to “work”.  Can I still call it that if I don’t really work there anymore?  I love everyone there so much and miss them tons!  But, there is nothing better than being able to be with my boy everyday!  Thank you Jesus for answering our prayers!  I love that I can go visit them like I never left.SANY0029aSherry, Me, Mario, and Misty

SANY0042Lori “Little Red Riding Hood” and Zac SANY0043We took his Mario hat off and he turned into Steve, my “Boss” just a few years ago with his awesome stache.  The framed photo of “World’s Best Boss” was my white elephant gift I made for last years Christmas party.  This photo is the best blackmail ever!

SANY0111Sleepy Mario at Grandma Kelli’s SANY0112a SANY0115Zac hanging out in his “spot”.  He can lay here forever watching sports with Grandpa.  He loves it! SANY0116Saturday, we went to Presley’s Costume Birthday Party, then met Grandma Shelley and Grandpa Joey at Ruby Tuesdays to show them “Mario” while they had appetizers and a drink, then went trick or treating to Grandma Darlene’s, Aunt Pam’s, Grandma Kelli and Grandpa MJ’s, and Grandma Judy’s.  We were exhausted and not the happiest Mario by the end of the night.  We were so happy to get in our jammies and just hand out candy to the trick or treaters!  And on Sunday, the real Halloween, we took it easy!  We only got one set of trick or treaters and that was it!

Hope you all had a great Halloween!  We did!

Presley’s 3rd Birthday Party

Presley turned 3!  And had a really cute costume party!  Me and “Baby Mario” went and loved watching P open her presents, and eat her dirt and worms, and make her cute little jack-o-lantern plate.  She was the cutest little witch!  I especially loved her tights and sparkly purple shoes!  Too bad she lost the shoes, and Mario’s costume didn’t last long enough for pictures.  Jess is the best party hostess!SANY0074 SANY0075 SANY0094a  SANY0110aHappy Birthday Presley!  We love you!

Thankful for Matasha and Dustin

Matasha!

I’m so thankful that you are my cousin!  You have always been so fun and cute!

I LOVE that you are so close to having your sweet baby girl!  And that I secretly found out before your big announcement!  haha  You are going to love being a Mama!

I am so thankful you have a great husband that is so excited for your baby too!  I can only imagine how she is going to have her Daddy wrapped around her little finger!  Seeing your babies Daddy love and play with your baby is one of the sweetest things EVER!

I love that you are so creative!  Your jewelry is amazing!

I love your style of decorating!  I can not wait to see your babies nursery!  You have an awesome talent for that!

I am thankful for the love between you, your mom, and sisters!  You girls are hilarious!  I love your funny pictures and stories you all share on your blogs!

I am thankful for how sweet you have always been!  I’ve even heard people talk about you not knowing we are cousins saying what a sweet girl you are!

I love all of your pregnancy updates!  It’s crazy how much I miss it!  Even though it was rough, it is such a great experience!  God has given us such an amazing gift to be mommies!

I love all the memories I have of us growing up and getting together a couple times a year, even if that’s all it was.  Those memories are some of my favorites.  Easter and Christmas time!  So much fun!

I’m so thankful that our babies will grow up together.  It’s so much fun keeping in touch and watching babies so close in age to Zac grow up!  I can not tell you how excited I am for you to have your baby!  It’s the greatest experience ever, definitely hard and crazy, but such an amazing blessing from God!

Thankful for Raquel and Harold

Raquel,

I’m thankful that once upon a time, our parents became friends, and through them we became friends.

I’m thankful for the memories I have of us playing “Werewolf” at the apartments we lived in.  It’s so funny that I live in the same apartment complex now.  20 years later.  haha

I’m thankful for the old pictures of us my mom has.  They crack me up every time I see them.  I will always remember Desi with no front teeth.  It was so cute!

I love that you moved away and since have gotten an Arkansas accent.  I loved talking to you when we finally found each other through facebook.  It was like we have always been in touch!  Speaking of talking to you, I should be a better friend and call you again!  We really need to have a reunion get together!

I’m thankful for you sharing your sister stories and that Desi came out here and I got to see her for a minute.  I’m also thankful to know Darienne through facebook.  She is so cute!  And Breck has sure grown up (how old did that make me sound?).  Crazy!

I’m thankful for your love of keeping your house so cute and decorated!  I’m such a slacker.  I used to be much better at it!  I can’t wait to own a house and actually be able to put color on the walls!

I’m thankful for how hard you made me laugh when we talked on the phone that first time after not seeing each other for so long.  You crack me up!

I love that we have so much in common.  Talking to you was so much fun!  We should be neighbors!

I’m thankful for the love you have for your family.  You can tell how close you all are and how much you love to get together.  You have so much fun!

I’m thankful for sisters!  Really is there much that is better than a sister?  I love all your sister pics and love how goofy you are together!

Thankful for Lorraine!

Lorraine!

What words would even express my love for you and Chrissie?!  And of course, your whole family and all your love for Jesus!  Thank you God, for Chrissie!

I’m so thankful for my time on bed rest, before I had by sweet baby boy!  It was then that I found your blog through Polly/Kristen’s!  Who would have thought I’d be thankful for bed rest?!

I’m so thankful for your sweet Chrissie!  What an inspiration she is to so many!  I love her so much!

I’m so thankful for all your pictures of Chrissie and for you sharing her story with us as hard as it had to be.  What a sweet smile she has!  Thank you!

Thank you for sharing with Polly, and for sharing www.haveheart.net.  It was through that comment that I found your blog.  Thank you!

I am so thankful for you sharing the Gospel with Chrissie and her love that she had for Jesus at such a young age!  I can only pray that my baby will love Jesus when he’s such a little guy!  I pray that he becomes best friends with Jesus!  I pray that me and my husband raise Zac in a way that he knows Jesus and that Jesus will show Zacky who He is!  There would be nothing better!

Thank you for showing us your great example as Christian parents through your blog!  Thank you, Jesus, for technology/blogging to share Your Word and Your Gospel!  THANK YOU JESUSThank you for your love for adoption/orphans!  You have such a big heart for children that need mommies and daddies.  Thank you for spreading the word for those babies.  I pray that they all find their Forever Families!  Thank you for being Chrissie’s!  PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN!

Thank you for the charity contributions/prayers you give.  Thank God for giving you the opportunity that you are able to give as much as you do, and for being an inspiration to others to do the same or to do MORE than we would normally do.  The power of prayer is HUGE!

Thank you, Lorraine, for your love of children.  For you giving all of kids Forever Families!  What a blessing!

Thank you God for your gift of eternal life!  That you want nothing more than for us to seek you!  For us to repent of our sins and have a change of mind, to live our lives for you.  To ask for forgiveness, and you will forgive!  That you gave your Son to pay four OUR sins!  That He died on the cross so OUR sins would be forgiven, so we could live eternally in Heaven with YOU!  THANK YOU GOD!

Thankful for Jana

Jana,

Oh Jana, I’m thankful that I married Luke and we are now cousins.  And I love that on one of your posts you said you were glad I FINALLY married Luke.  Ok, so it was probably more like he FINALLY asked me to marry him!  haha  Now, if Charlie would just marry cute little Faye!

I’m thankful for your love for photography!  Even when you go “paparazzi” on me, like at the Ryan Shupe concert.  Sneaky you!

I’m thankful for the shout outs to me on your blog!  Silly, but I love it!

I love that I FINALLY got to see beyond the outside of your house this Halloween.  How have I driven by so many times and never stopped?!

I love how excited you and your family were to see Zac, Baby Mario, when we stopped.  Your reactions couldn’t have been better.  Too bad Mario was so sleepy!

I love that you went to Snow, even if it was only for a little bit.  I knew you’d love Ephraim!

I loved hearing your stories of when you did live in Ephraim.  It brought back fun memories of when I went to Snow.  Or at least I was enrolled.  I super sucked and hardly ever went to class.  I was even too afraid to check my grades.  Lame!  I did at least love my English.  I’m sure I passed that class.

Is it silly to say that I love that you think I’m funny?  I sort of do love that.  haha  You and Zac think I’m funny.  haha

Thanks that you don’t love winter sports.  Pictures are always fun, but warm is better!

I am extremely thankful for the one post you said how grateful you were for me being open with my Christian faith.  I always feel like I could be more open and share more and know I should.  This specifically made me feel good and wants me to be better at sharing!  Thanks!

Thankful for Michelle and Vern

Michelle,  (PRIVATE BLOG)

I’m thankful that a looong time ago we were little neighbor girls riding our bikes around the block with our little sisters.

I’m thankful for the pictures my mom took of my birthday parties when I was little with you and Natalie in them.  I really was gonna wait to post this so I could scan a picture of the party just for fun, but it’s at my mom’s and that would require a lot of work.  haha

I’m thankful for the old pictures you and Natalie have posted on your blog of when we were little to make me laugh remembering you two as little girls.

I’m thankful for blogs and facebook to keep in touch with old friends and so I can see pics of your cute kiddos!

I’m thankful that there is someone out there that is more “behind” on blogging than me!  ;)

I’m thankful for Vern back in highschool making one of the best meals I have ever eaten!  You are one lucky lady!  haha

I’m thankful for your family and the memories I have of hanging out at your house in elementary school.

I’m thankful for Terrel’s Grocery Store.  Especially the bakery!  I can’t tell you how long I’ve been craving a Terrel’s glazed donut!  It’s ridiculous!

I’m thankful for the birthday post Natalie did for you about her memories and great things about you.  I thought it was so sweet!  And loved reading it!

I’m thankful for technology that even though we don’t see each other we can stay in touch through the internet.  Even if it is just through blog-stalking!

Grandpa MJ and Zacky

This will be Zac’s favorite spot to hang out watching sports with Grandpa.  I think he already loves it!SANY0030 SANY0029Grandpa loves to watch Zac suck on his binky through the hole in the middle.

Thankful for Rachael and Garrett

Rachael,

I’m so thankful that our husbands are golf buddies, for you opening your home to Luke when he was in town for a golf tournament, and for Luke telling me how awesome you are so that now we can be cyber friends (until we actually finally meet anyway).  Luke really still tells me how cool you are whenever I have your blog up.  He loves your kids!

I’m so thankful for your blog and seeing all the fun things you do as a mom!  I hope I can be a fun mom like you and show my kids all sorts of fun things like you do.  I love all your mini daytrips you guys do!

I love your creativity!  That cowboy baby shower you threw was so super cute!

I am so thankful for the soap you make and for you sending it to me!  I am especially in love with the ones with seeds to exfoliate when the seasons change and my skin gets dry.  They smell amazing!  Thank you!  (PS  I am such a slacker on my thank you cards!)

I love the blanket you made Zac!  And the cute apron you made me awhile ago.  You are so thoughtful!  Thanks again!

I’m thankful for all the cute photos of your cute kiddos, so we can see them grow up!  They are adorable and your pics are great!  Luke really can’t believe how big Brady is!

I’m thankful for your facebook updates of how productive you are!  You inspire me.

I’m thankful for friends who live outside of Utah, so I can see the beauty of where you live too!  I love your backyard!

I’m thankful for the friendship Luke and Garrett have and that they are able to stay in touch.

I’m thankful for friends that are good mommy examples to me!  I can see how much you love your babies and all the fun things you come up with to do with and for them!
