Week 4 Blessings, Reflection, and Prayer

It's Wednesday share your blessings!
And holy cow! It's only 9:00 and I'm heading to bed to read!

I am blessed with the cutest little climber girl climbing up my legs as she gets her last little bit of energy out before bed.
I am blessed with an amazing church family that goes out to support our softball team. And especially loved that hot brownies were involved tonight!
I am blessed with a husband who forgives me time and again. And that he loves me unconditionally.
I am blessed with healthy kids.
I am blessed that Lucy didn't have shots at her well check appointment today. Teething and shots would not have been a fun combo.
I am blessed to have a patient pediatrician, as Lucy was not a happy camper at her appointment.
I am blessed to have been able to spend time with my niece this week. And even more blessed to see the bond she and Zac have. I loved seeing them light up at each others presence. So sweet!
I am blessed that I was just interrupted by Zac yelling from bed "Boof!" (Poop) As he was taking his time doing his business he was showing me the soap in the shower. As he called it "Poh". I corrected him slowly saying "Soap". I laughed as he studied my mouth and quietly repeated "Pp, Pp, Pp" then a big, loud, confident "Poh!" We repeated this "correction" multiple times and he continued to be confident that he was saying it correctly. Made my night.
I am blessed each and every time I open an email from this group. I have learned so much from you and we are only beginning!

Friday Reflection Questions

1. One important lesson I want to remember from this weeks readings is:  That it is important to be organized and have a plan for your day.  And to start my day with Jesus!  I need to be an example and lead my kids in a morning prayer and start our days together with Him.

2. Why do you think it’s important to rise early? How could your day be different if you went to bed earlier and woke up before your family?  I'm still struggling with the idea of rising early.  Even when I try to go to bed early I am restless and have a hard time falling asleep.  I do see the importance in rising early and making time for Jesus and planning my day before it starts.  I need to be better at this.

3. What dream has God planted in your heart?  Leading my children to know Jesus.  That we constantly talk about Him and seek Him together as a family.  Also, God led me to do this study, which is so not something I ever ever ever thought I would be doing.  It is all Him!  I have been so blessed by it and hope to do another study like this one.  This group of ladies has done 2 other online studies and I hope they do another that I can lead again.

4. I am going to be more intentional by:  Slowing down.  Starting my day with Jesus and a prayer with the kids, no matter how crazy it is.  (Today Zac screamed through it, but he was clearly listening.  I thanked Jesus for our Friday Family Pizza Night with Dad.  Later I said something to Zac about Dad and he yelled "Pizza!"  Thank you Jesus for showing me that through his fit, he was listening!)  I am going to make some goals.  And a daily/weekly list of things to get done... and do them!  Last, I am going to trust no matter what plans I make, Jesus is the ultimate planner and I will follow His lead.

Prayer
Please pray for my sister, Ashley,  to get some rest!  She spent 2 nights in the hospital getting re-hydrated with 10 bags of fluid.  She is home now.  Please pray for protection for her.  That Jesus will hold her close as she gets better.

Praise that my Grandma is on day 14 of chemo and is feeling great!
