I have started a study group following “The Proverbs 31 Woman – One Virtue at a Time” book. I am going to post on my blog what we are doing and anyone who wants to join can do so. You can send me your email and I can add you to our group and you can get to know each other there. Or, you can follow along here and feel free to comment anytime. I will only be posting my thoughts here, not the groups unless they give me permission to share.
Here is the introduction email I sent to the group.
Hi Ladies!
I'm so excited to have you in this Proverbs 31 group! I'm excited to get to know all of you better.
Hopefully you've all had a chance to subscribe to Women Living Well blog and have been able to download the free ebook. If not you can do that here http://womenlivingwell.org/2012/05/for-the-first-time-ever/. Just type in your email on the right and you will begin getting emails from them which will have a link to download the ebook at the bottom of the message. It looks like they send an email Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. If you haven't downloaded gotten an email yet, here is the link to download the book. Click here to download the free ebook “The Proverbs 31 Woman – One Virtue at a Time.”
Here are a couple of other things you will want to download. You can print these as well as the book and put them in a binder.
GMG Study Guide
GMG Reading Plan
The study guide is mostly full of SOAP (Scripture, Observation, Application, Prayer) journal sheets. If you prefer you can do that online here http://www.soapstudy.com/. I think that I will be doing mine online. There are also some questions that follow the weekly reading. I'll tell you what I'm not good at... journaling! I personally don't plan on printing all of this out. I think I will probably answer the questions in my email and share with you. I feel like it will make me more accountable and I might actually do it that way! I am also considering posting to my blog to share with anyone who may not be in our group.. It would also be a good place for me to look back and see how God has blessed me during this study.
Go ahead and follow the Reading Plan Mon-Fri. Monday's reading is Proverbs 31:1, 2 and Page 5 of the Proverbs 31 Woman book.

Since this is an online group, participation is key. I know we will all benefit from what each of us share! Something I remember hearing that always put me in my place is that we are not just here to have our cup filled, but to let our cup spill over and fill others up. Let's fill each other with encouraging words, humble ourselves, drop our pride, and let God use us to encourage each other.
Friday will be a day that we can share prayer requests. But, please feel free to ask for prayer anytime! This should be a place we all feel comfortable sharing and what is said in this group should stay in the group.
If you have any questions about the group or study, please let me know. If you know anyone who may want to join the group, please send me their name and email and I will add them to the email list.
I'll be praying that God will speak to each of us personally through this study. That He will use each of us to teach each other ways to be better wives, mothers, and women through not only our Bible reading, but also our own testimonies and experiences. That through our trials we will become stronger and use them to help each other. I pray that He will keep us in His word daily. And we will persevere and finish the study! And mostly that we will all grow in our relationship with Him!
Blessed be His Name!
