Good Morning!
I hope you all had a great Mother's Day! I'm excited to start this study with all of you!
For Day 1, I had great plans be show you all my SOAP journal. I didn't think I would struggle with it. I think it was hard because it wasn't much info yet. Just a mom telling her son to listen to her. Anyway, here is what I wrote in my journal today.
S- Proverbs 31:1, 2 "The sayings of King Lemuel—an inspired utterance his mother taught him. Listen, my son! Listen, son of my womb! Listen, my son, the answer to my prayers!"
O- King Lemuel's mother is asking her son to listen to the prayers she has for him regarding a perfect woman.
A- I can pray for my son's future wife and for my daughter to be godly women.
P- Lord, I pray that Zac's future wife and Lucy would be of noble character and live their lives to honor you. Please help me to remember to pray for their future and raise them to live for you. I pray that Zac and Lucy would see that they are being prayed for always and that they will hear my prayers for them. Amen.
I'd love to hear if any of you got more from the reading than what I just shared. Each day, we can share what God has taught us through our reading. You are welcome to share your entire SOAP journal, just a part of it, or even a thought or question about it. It would be great to hear from everyone each day, whether you just say "I read today" or if you have more to share or even if you are struggling to get your reading done. That way I will know where you are at and we can pray for each other when we are struggling to just get it done.
Love,
Nicki
