Thankful for Polly

Polly,

Wow, where to start?

I’m so thankful for you sharing Kristen with all of us!  I love hearing about Kristen and love that her story goes on through her blog

I love that Kristen has made you the sweet, giving, loving, caring, kind woman that you are.

I love that you continue to honor her through all the sweet projects for kids going through what she did and making their hard times better.  You have such a big heart!  It makes me want to do more and be better too!

I am so thankful for the big world of blogging.  That we can find friends and strength through others going through some of the same things, and others just encouraging us.  I love that through your blog, I have found others that I love to read and find encouraging as well.

I love your family.  You guys are so much fun and always make me laugh through your funny stories and the fun things you are all doing.  You can see the love you all have for each other and are so supportive of each other.

I love that you are so crafty and creative.  You have a great sense of style.  I think it’s so great that you pass it on to others.  I love your fun cakes you make!

I am so thankful for the example you are to all of us being so strong through all you have been through.  You are an inspiration to so many!

I love your love for the holidays and that you always go all out and make the most of it.  I know that Kristen loves them too!  All of your baking and decorating is so much fun!

I am so thankful for your blog, but more for how amazing you are as a writer.  I know I’ve said it before, but my family is always saying how much they love the way you write.

I love all the pictures you post and that we get to see new pictures of Kristen still.  She is so silly and it always brightens my day to see and hear about her.  Thank you for sharing her!

I’m also so thankful for the power of prayer and for God’s plan of salvation!  I know that there were and still are so many prayers for you from so many people all over the world because you have shared your story through Kristen’s blog!  Praise God!

Thankful for Kailee and Chris

Kailee,  (PRIVATE BLOG!)

I’m so thankful for your cute baby Kael, that is not so much of a baby anymore!  I love his name!

I’m thankful that I went to highschool with Chris, and through him I have you and your cute family on my blog list!

I’m thankful that once upon a time (a loooong time ago) you were like preschool friends with my sister Mandy.  This may be weird, but I totally remember you being friends when you were like 4.  WEIRD!  Yes.

I’m thankful that for some reason, Mandy decided to move in with my Dad and became friends with you again somewhat for the year (or so) that she moved to Mt. Pleasant.

Obviously, my brain has failed me, but I love that you somehow stuck in my brain.  I seriously remember how cute you were as a little girl and how cute your mom was.  My memory of you is being super shy, but so cute!  I for some reason remember you coming to Mandy’s birthday party a million years ago.  There must be pictures that have made my brain remember these things!

I LOVE your style of blogging!  I love all of your Kael, Chris, Kailee updates so much!  It makes me wish I was more creative with my blogging!  You are so cute!

I love your love for your family!  Not just Chris and Kael, but for your siblings and parents.  Such a great love!  It’s wonderful!

I love your family photo updates!  You have a beautiful little family!

I love Chris’ love of the outdoors and that he shares it with you and Kael!

I love that I can check your “private” updates here and there.  I am such a slacker at checking the “private” blogs, but love when I actually do check them and see all the fun you have been up to!

Thankful for Brie and Skyler

Brie!

I’m so thankful that I was able to work for your Dad for 2 years and was able to know you (more through our sweet friend, Nicole, than through your Dad) in this time!

I’m especially thankful that we were prego at the same time with our sweet babies!  And that we will see them grow up together through our blogs if nothing else!

I love your fun style that you are able to show through your sweet baby girl and her awesome nursery, and your amazing, fun pics!

I’m thankful for the fun time we had at the movie together the first time we met!  And that we actually “met” rather than just through MSN Messenger and Facebook!  P.S.  Maybe this wasn’t the first, but the most significant to me and my brain.  It seems like there was a bridal/baby shower that I met you at sooner?!

I love the name Scarlet!  It is nothing that I expected, but I think it is the perfect name for your little “Scar Face!”

I’m so thankful for your blog.facebook and that I get to stay informed on her progress as a baby and know what is coming soon for baby Zac!  I love that I have friends with babies just older than Zac to prepare myself for what is to come!

I love that your husband is from “near Richfield” and from a small town like I grew up in!  It’s so fun for me to read about him and his family.  I grew up in Mt. Pleasant, which isn’t too far, or different from Richfield.  I love it so much!

I love that we did get to know each other through MSN Messenger!  I think there is something about getting to know someone online, that makes you a little more open than you normally would be in person!  Silly, but true!

I love your love for great photos that I have as well!  Your prego photos and baby photos are so much fun!  Having a change of income/being able to stay home is a little bittersweet!  We got our newborn shots as a baby shower gift!  Which was amazing, but its going to be different for me to not be able to do professional photoshoots for us with less of an income.  I’m so thankful to be able to stay home.  I’m sure we’ll figure out our “professional” photoshoots!  Hopefully I’ll be able to take some just as great, or we’ll be able to get some taken for us.  We know a few AWESOME photographers!  One that takes photos and donates all of her profit to ROOTS which will build a new Church building for us!  We can’t wait til it’s done!  P.S.  I just posted 3 different photographers!  Check all of them out!  They are GREAT!

I’m thankful for your sweet comments on my blog and facebook photos.  I know this is lame, but it really is so fun to get comments from my friends, whether they are close friends/family or just acquaintances.  You are so sweet and fun!  Love ya lady!

Thankful for Mandy and Sam

Mandy,

I’m so thankful for so, so many things about you and your family!

I’m so thankful that you had a baby cousin just 4 1/2 months before baby Zac was born!  And for all the “baby/prego” advice you have given me!  I love that you got to experience this all just before me and I can ask you for questions and advice about my new baby!

I love that I feel like we have become closer, as sisters, since we have gotten married, and had babies, and just “matured”.  haha

I am so thankful that you live in Kanab!  I LOVE coming to visit so much!  Kanab is one of my favorite places, and I’m sure much of that has to do with what a great hostess you are!  I love four-wheeling, and hiking, and so-far-unsuccessfully searching for arrowheads.  I know one day we will find one together!

I love baby Quinny!  I love her as her, as a turtle, as a cousin, as a niece, as a baby, as everything!  I love being her Aunt Nick!

I love that you are so happy as a wife, as a sister, as a daughter, and as an aunt!  Our babies sure have fun, sweet, cute cousins!  I love that each of us have one “baby”!  Even if Avrie is a little afraid of losing the attention as the only grandbaby, I know she loves her baby cousins and will be the best cousin/big babysitter ever!

I love that I can share my experiences with Jesus with you and you are so welcoming!  I love that you ask questions and want to experience Zac’s baby dedication when we do it!  I am so thankful for your open heart!  I love that we are all able to experience a close relationship with Jesus if we just ask for it!  We have such a forgiving, awesome God!

I am so thankful that I get to see you as such a sweet, sweet mommy to your baby girl!  I love all the fun pictures you send me of little Quinn!  She is such a happy baby girl!

I am so thankful for the technology that we have in our lives that we get to share our experiences instantly through text, and email!   How awesome is that!

I’m thankful for Sam, for being such an amazing husband to you!  For sharing so much of this world with you through all of your travels, and that you are able to share that with all of us!  We could all be envious, which would do us no good, but we can all make goals to do that for ourselves, or be thankful for what we have experienced ourselves!  Thank you Sam!

I am thankful for what great parents you and Sam are to Quinny.  You can see how happy she is even as a sweet baby girl!  Obviously, she has seen so much and loves you both so much!  She is one lucky baby!  I can’t wait to see what she has in store for her throughout her life and also, for your future babies!  Your family is so blessed!  Thank God!

I love you so much Mandy, Sam, and Quinn!  I thank God for you every day!  I love you!

Thankful for YOU!

Dear Family and Friends,

I am currently in a fun small group at church.  We are reading “Choosing Gratitude” by Nancy Leigh DeMoss.  It’s a fun, uplifting book.  We are only one chapter in and I feel convicted to thank each of you individually here on my blog and as a personal comment on each of your blogs.  I plan to write 10 things I am thankful for each of you for.  I think it’s important to pay attention to the things we are thankful for.  It especially is helpful when the things in life that are so negative sometimes seem to be the focus of our lives.

I know I’m so behind on blogging, but I feel like this is the most important right now.  I pray that I will get caught up on little Zacky’s life as well as thanking God for all of you and what you have brought into my life!

Here’s to gratitude!  And to all of you!  Something fun to look forward to!

Love,

Me!

Watching Max Play Baseball

We made it to a couple of Max’s baseball games.  Zac loves being outside.  Max can’t wait til Zac is bigger and he can teach him how to play too!SANY0004aMax’s fans! SANY0006The hat goes on and he won’t open his eyes.  He’s so funny.  He’s wide awake, but keeps his eyes closed. SANY0007 SANY0008a

Visit to Aunt Ashley’s!

We sure love our Aunt Ashley!  And our Uncle Kev and Cousin Avrie!  We’re so glad we finally got to go for a visit and had so much fun!SANY0031aFirst he had to stretch and wake up a little bit.2010 053Ashley pulled out the camera and Zac turned on the charm.  Smiles galore!  I love him! 2010 060 2010 062 2010 065 2010 066 2010 067   SANY0040 SANY0049SANY0034aAv’s cute haunted house she made.

SANY0054Checking each other out.  Neither one of them look so sure of each other.  Poor little Avrie is not used to anyone else getting Grandma’s attention.  She’s not liking it so much.  The only time she gave Zac any attention was when she sat by him in the car.  She warmed up for a minute and was so cute playing with him.  Once he smiled at her, she realized that he liked her.  Silly girl. SANY0056 SANY0057 SANY0058 SANY0059 SANY0061 SANY0063aThis was a super quick trip.  We just went down for a couple hours and back.  We got sandwiches at Gandolfo’s and took them to Avrie’s school to eat and she got to show us her fun playground.  It’s a brand new school and everything is so much fun!  We all got to play and act like kids!
