Week 7 Questionnaire

We had our first group get together!  Here is everyone who was able to make it, minus some more kiddos who were having a blast playing downstairs.

This week the Monday question doesn't have so much to do with the study, but is more of another get to know you better questionnaire. 

Where did you grow up? 
What brought you to where you live now? 
How did you meet your spouse? 

I grew up in Mt. Pleasant, a small town in Central Utah.  Most people haven't heard of it.  If you've heard about the huge fire in Indianola, it is just south of that maybe 15 minutes.  It has been incredible seeing the pictures of the fire that my friends have posted and how many homes have been lost.  :(  My parents moved around a lot when I was really little, but my memories are here.  Then they divorced when I was 8 and I moved to Salt Lake with my mom.  I lived with her until I was 13 and moved back to Mt. Pleasant with my dad until I graduated high school.  I moved out when I was 17 and attended college enough to get a passing grade for a couple semesters. 

Then I got a great nanny job in Draper that I loved!  My boss set me up on a blind date with her nephew, Luke.  I knew from our first date that he was "the one".  We dated for 6 1/2 years before we got married.  We both became Christians just after we got married and our relationship is completely different and so much better than it was pre-Jesus! 

He's from Sandy, so we have stayed close to be near family and now love our church family and can't imagine life without them either!
