Tilly's Birthday

We started Tilly's birthday party with singing Happy Birthday.  Then had to rush to our carriage ride and come back to finish the party.

The next part of our party was a carriage ride downtown to see the lights.

Grandma Mary had never been to City Creek, so we walked through and gave her a quick tour.

And got hot chocolate!  Boy, did Zac love this treat!

Christmas Party at Grandma Shelley's

Waiting patiently to open his gift.  He's had his eye on this one present with his name on it for weeks.

In addition to our Christmas party, we got to celebrate Tilly's birthday the same day.

Ashley, Kevin, Grandma Mary, Sam, Nicki, Mandy, Luke, Zac, Grandpa Joey, Tilly, Grandma Shelley, and in front Avrie, Quinn, and Lucy.

I was struggling with what to get my mom.  I had a couple things picked out.  I joked with my sisters that I wanted to get her something to remind her of my Grandpa Newell, like a turkey that says bad jokes.  I went with it and made her a silly stuffed turkey.

When we asked her what she wanted, she told us "Oh, something personal like having a star named after me."  Mandy looked into it and found out she could do it and she did.  

The excitement!  I love the look on both of their faces.  Ha!

Grandma Bernitta made the cutest little purses for the girls.  Lucy loves them and has one around her arm often.

Beautiful isn't it?  Zac saw this and laughed so hard over and over.  Delirious, over sleepy, hard belly laughs.
