Week 4 Question

Welcome to Week 4!

It's February.  Are you feelin' the love?  I thought i'd kick off the month by asking...

How can we show our love to God?

And, how can we show God's love to others?

I can show my love to God by spending time with Him.  It is easy for me to pray often.  To be in constant conversation with Him.  But less easy for me to spend time reading my Bible and letting Him fill me up!  If it weren't for these studies, I would be lacking!  I have been so blessed by actually studying what I am reading, rather than reading just to read.  I have tried reading my Bible in a year and to be honest, I get caught up in reading just to get my days "work" done.  I would not let it soak in and I'm sure I got something out of it, but definitely not like I have by studying a few verses at a time!

My goal this week is to spend more time reading my Bible.  And also, to be more thankful in my prayers.  To focus on thanksgiving rather than asking for what I need or want.  And, to pray more for others than myself.

I can show others God's love by sharing how He has blessed me.

I will add to my goals that I will share one experience of how God has blessed me to one person this week.
