We had so much fun making Cloud Dough! I got the idea from this blog post Cloud Dough is Awesome. I totally agree that Cloud Dough is indeed awesome! My friend had directed me to this blog post 120+ Activities for Ages 1-4. It’s been so much fun to copy her ideas!
All it is is Flour and Baby Oil! Easy! I cut her “recipe” in half and used 4 cups of flour and 1/2 cup of baby oil. I did add a little extra baby oil to make it more moldable.
It was so much fun to play in and it smells so good! It is light and fluffy like flour, but the oil makes it moldable to make “cloud” castles and balls. And you can sprinkle it to make it like it is snowing.
I expected a huge mess that would be hard to clean up like flour usually is. The oil makes it so the flour doesn’t stick to everything and clean up was a breeze!
First Zac tested out the flour.
He had more fun smashing the castles than building them.
And his favorite was the “snow”.
Looks super messy, but cleaned up easily! And my kitchen smelled like baby oil for awhile after. Yum!
I put the Cloud Dough in a baggie and we are still able to play with it!
