Our “Bb” week was kinda lame, because I wasn’t very prepared and just thought of something they day of. Lesson learned. Be prepared!
Monday we colored a “Bb”. We also found some things that were magnetic and added them to our Magnetic Letters on our front door. I was going to do more with magnets throughout the week and didn’t.
Tuesday we had a “Bb” themed bath. I used our bath paints to draw “Bb’s” in the tub. Then, Zac painted me pictures of things that started with “Bb”. The couple pictures I took were lame and are not being posted.
Wednesday we made a Bird! I used my amazing artist skills and drew an awesome bird. Ha! Then Zac glued feathers on him.
First we talked about how feathers are soft.
I’m glad this this picture was taken after Zac’s eye appointment, which was the day before. I would have been nervous that his eyes are crossing worse. Thanks be to God that his eye crossing is being healed! I think he was waving the feather and I took the picture as he was focusing on the feather.
Gluing feathers is tricky. The feathers were sticking to the glue he got on his fingers.
Thursday we painted a Butterfly. I folded the paper and cut out a butterfly. He finger painted half of the butterfly, then we folded the butterfly together and had symmetrical wings.
He liked seeing the colors mix together and make “pink”.
The paint had started to dry on top and didn’t make for a very symmetrical butterfly. But he had fun. He loves to paint!
Friday we played with his flashcards and had a letter memory day. He loves the flashcards too!
