Almost every time Zac sees an “A” he says, “A apple”. He loved painting with the apples. I cut two apples in half, one length wise and the other width wise. (That sounded so wrong – width wise. It can’t be right, but I’m going with it. Maybe I shouldn’t be the teacher. Ha!) One made a circle, the other was apple shaped.
He only tried to eat the paint covered apples a few times.
He added his own finger painting to his masterpiece. And we added a couple of “A’s”
He loves to see his picture on display! It’s his favorite piece of art that he has made. He is constantly showing us. He proudly says “Paint apple”.
Our first week of school was a success! He also colored an “A” I drew on the second day of school.
Proud Mama moment. We are halfway through “B” week now and today he said “A” and made the short A sound on his own. I have been singing the song from starfall.com and that little brain of his is soaking it all in!
