S- Luke 2:10-14 "But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”"
O- Jesus is born! He will cause great joy for all the people! Jesus is Lord! A Savior has been born! Jesus, a little baby, saves! God brings peace to those in his favor.
A- Can you imagine a large group of angels appearing before you, praising God! How awesome! And I'm sure terrifying. But the angel said, "Do not be afraid." The angel brought GOOD NEWS! That Jesus, the Messiah, the Lord, our Savior, has been born! And he brings joy for all the people! No birth story even compares to Jesus'!
P- Thank you God for the amazing story of Jesus' birth! Thank you that He was born for me! As a savior to pay the death penalty for me. Thank you for your plan. That you sacrificed this sweet baby for my sinful life. Thank you for joy in Jesus! Please help me to not forget the sacrifice for me. I pray that I would spread the joy in Jesus for your glory! In Jesus' name I pray, Amen!
