Our stay in the hospital was much more relaxing. We had less visitors and with me not being so sick probably helped too! I had such an easy recovery and was up walking and even took a shower just a few hours after Miss Lucy was born.
Our first visitor was Zac, of course, with Grandma Kelli and Grandpa Milan. Zac was not so sure about everything. He pretty much ignored Lucy and wouldn’t pay any attention to her. He also didn’t want anything to do with me, probably because I was holding her and he didn’t like the fact that I was just laying in that hospital bed.
He did have fun playing with Dad while he was there. He’s playing peekaboo with Grandpa across the room here.
Grandma Darlene and Aunt Polly came next.
Lucy is such a sweet baby. She is very quiet and mellow like her brother. I was sure since Zac is so mellow, she’d be a firecracker. So far, she’s been so easy!
Zac sat by me for a minute after they went to the cafeteria. The graham crackers I had probably helped.
It got pretty scary for him when I had Lucy in my lap too.
We attempted a family photo. It obviously wasn’t a success.

Lucy’s blood sugar was a little low, so I supplemented with formula after nursing just while we were at the hospital. She is a much quicker eater than Zac was. I remember feeling like I just finished feeding Zac and it would be time to feed him again. He liked to take his time. I’m so thankful she is speedy!

Luke and I got a nice dinner for 2. I had salmon and he had steak and sparkling cider. Not bad for hospital food.

Zac came back to see us and to make the switch to go stay at Grandma Shelley’s for the night. He was sure happy to see his Dad.
And he got spoiled by Aunt Ashley with a new game, Gator Golf. This is his new favorite thing!

Congrats, what a doll!! I can't get over how cute your little family is! You will love having a little girl. I never thought i would but it is a blast. I'm sure you'll enjoy almost every minute of it ;)
