Prego Update

Well, I’m a little behind on the prego updates.  Here are the last few weeks in pics and doctor updates.  It looks like this girl could be here any day, so I better finish this up! 

These were taken at 34 weeks. 

35 Weeks at Palisade.  At my 35 week appointment she checked to see if I was dilating at all.  I was at a 2.  The night before my appointment, I was having a lot of contractions again.  I figured my body was making progress.  Luke gets all nervous when he knows I’m having contractions all night.  He wanted me to call the doctor to let them know.  I told him they were just going to tell me to drink a ton of water and take it easy.  That’s exactly what she said.  I listened and they slowed down.  I also scheduled an induction for September 11th if she doesn’t make it here sooner.  I will be 39 weeks.

36 Weeks.  I was almost at a 3 at this weeks appointment.  Things are progressing!  I also got my flu shot and my Group B Strep test results were negative.  This was the only appointment Luke and Zac weren’t able to go with me too. 

I had belly pictures done with Zac at 37 weeks!  They’ll be posted later.  I also wanted to get a good video of Lucy dancing in my belly.  I am so happy to have this.  I’m sure it will creep some people out, but it’s so cool!  Dance, Lucy, dance!

37 1/2 Week Doctor Visit.  I took this picture while we were waiting to go back.  This is “our” bench.  Zac has always been so good at every appointment.  When we pulled up to the hospital he yelled “Dad!” like he knew right where we were and that this is where we meet Dad to play. 

I was dilated to a 3 and 65% effaced at this appointment.  She asked if I wanted her to strip my membranes when she checked me.  I told her I wasn’t sure, because I was never asked with Zac.  Then I told her we were hoping that she’d make her arrival on Friday to start off the long holiday weekend.  So, she said let’s do it.  I called my mom after and she was sure I’d be having a baby within 24 hours.  My appointment was Tuesday and here it is Thursday.  I had more than my normal Braxton Hicks that night until I went to bed and then nothing.  This morning I passed my “plug”.  That’s all I’ll say, because it was the grossest thing EVER!  Hopefully, that means she’s ready to come out SOON!  We can’t wait to meet Little Lucy!
