All the cousins usually meet at Palisade after the “campout”. This year it was just our family. My cousin Cole got married the same day, so that’s where most everyone was. And a bunch of them went fishing instead of swimming.
We didn’t get there as early as usual and didn’t get “our spot”. We did find a nice shady spot right across the road from the water. It was just as good. Zac had fun watching Grandma blow bubbles and pushing his stroller around.

I love Palisade! It's so fun and beautiful! Why do we only do this once a year? Twice if we're lucky. We really need to work on that! Look how much the kids love it! Good times!
