Sanpete Gives Back

We made it back to the Sanpete Gives Back all night softball tournament this year.  Click HERE to see last years post.  We got a few comments about me being pregnant last year too.  Luke played in the Palisade Golf Tournament the next day, so we went down and stayed over the night before.  Since we had Zac with us we didn’t stay long.  It was cold!  Many prayers were answered that the rain stopped for the tournament.  It only rained during one of the first games and then stopped.

I saw Avrie for about a split second while we were there.  She ran up and gave me a big hug, then was busy chasing her friend Isaac around.SANY0229-1

This picture is sad, but Zac’s face looks so funny.   He got stranger danger for the first time that weekend.  If he could see his Daddy he was so upset that he wasn’t the one holding him.  You can see Luke’s face in the top corner of the picture.  If he couldn’t see Dad, he was a little bit more calm even if I was standing there.  He loves his Daddy so much!  It was also his bedtime when we got there.SANY0232SANY0233SANY0235

We love that we can stay in an apartment during the summer when we go down.  Zac LOVED the big bean bag.  He perked right up when we got to the room and put him in it.  He just laughed and climbed around in there for an hour before he went to bed.SANY0243-1SANY0244-1SANY0248-1SANY0250-1

Zac’s favorite time is when we read his Bible to him at night.  He gets so excited every night to read his story.  SANY0255SANY0256

We went back to the ballpark to visit Ashley some more in the morning.  The sun was out and was much warmer than the night before.SANY0266SANY0267SANY0269SANY0270

Last year the fundraiser was for Amberly Rhodes who had pancreatic cancer.  She passed away the week following this years tournament.  I am so thankful that I was able to meet her last year and got to follow her blog and facebook page to get to know her a little better.  Also, through the stories Ashley shared about her.  I pray that God will continue to bless her family and friends who miss her so much everyday.
