Grandma Chiyo’s Farm

We had time to kill after we dropped Luke off for his tournament, so we spent the afternoon at Grandma Chiyo’s.  Zac had another stranger danger moment, but it didn’t last long after I showed him her fun toys.  She has the best little farm animals.  He loved playing with them.SANY0298-1

Then she told us she had kittens in the garage.  I couldn’t wait to see what Zac would do.  He didn’t disappoint.  His reaction couldn’t have been more fun!  He thought they were toys and was a little rough with them.  He’d grab their legs and tails and when they’d jump away, he would giggle and giggle.  It was so cute!  Don’t worry, I wouldn’t let him hurt the little kitties.  He had so much fun watching them jump from one thing to another. It was finally a nice day and all the rain made it so green.  I love the smell of these purple “weed” flowers.  They remind me of playing at my grandma’s and grandpa’s when I was little.  Awww, the memories!SANY0319

After the kitties, we had to check out the ducks in the duck pond.  He wasn’t as interested in the ducks.  They weren’t noisy or moving around enough to grab his attention.  He was more interested in the grass on his toes.SANY0322SANY0323SANY0325SANY0326SANY0329SANY0330-1

We had to see the kittens again before we left.  He loved them just as much the 2nd time.  SANY0334

Everyone loves the marble game at Grandma’s.  This was Zac’s first time playing.  He loved watching the marbles go down the track.  We got to play this for quite some time.   He also loved trying to give us a headache shaking the bowl of marbles.

SANY0352-1We had a great visit with Grandma.  I love spring time when there are fun baby animals and everything is so green and pretty.  There were lots of baby lambs on the drive down too.  They are so funny to watch bouncing around in the fields.
