Wednesday was my first day alone with both kids. We were told by the doctors at the hospital that Lucy was healthy and growing very well, so we wouldn’t need to go to the pediatrician until her 2 week appointment. Then the day after we got home I noticed some little blisters on her bottom lip. I called the pediatrician and they said to bring her in asap in case it was herpes. Ha! How would my baby get herpes if we’ve never had herpes?! So Wednesday, I hauled both kids to the doctor just to find out that they were just sucking blisters from nursing. And they disappeared after a day or two. She was back up to 6 lbs at this appointment. She’s a great little eater! I was a bit nervous that Zac was going to have a melt down while we were there, but he did great! I gave him some goldfish crackers and he was a champ! He was probably happy they weren’t checking him out or giving him shots.
He liked to peek in on her while she slept in her crib.

Poor guy took a few days to get back to his happy self.
Total girl! She’s such a poser.
