We made it home! Grandma and Grandpa brought Zac home. He checked her out a little bit, but was absolutely terrified of any little peep that she made. He would get so scared and have a total break down. It was so sad.
When he wasn’t terrified, he was busy ignoring her and playing with his toys.
Watching his favorite show, VeggieTales. His favorite part is the song at the beginning.
Dad put Lucy’s crib together. We hadn’t decided how to set her up yet. We knew we’d be moving soon and couldn’t decide if we should put it in Zac’s room or not. It was a good call to keep it downstairs. Lucy and I slept downstairs, because Zac couldn’t sleep through her noises. We put her pack and play in the hall outside our bedroom and even her little sounds would wake him up. We ended up going downstairs every time we tried, until I just decided to stay downstairs until we moved and make the transition then. Zac was carrying around his bolt “helping” Dad build.
I swear Zac turned into a GIANT while we were at the hospital. He seemed so much bigger when we got home! Look how big he is compared to her! His head especially seemed huge to me! She is such a tiny baby and he is so big! And they are only 13 months apart!
“Hey she has fingers like me.”Here’s little Zac on his first day home in his jammies on the same changing table.
She’s a strong little girl! We laid her down and she rolled over to the side of the changing table and got stuck here.
Both of their faces crack me up!
We did lots and lots of consoling this little guy.
Look at that tiny little hand all spread out. I think it’s funny she likes her hands spread out like this rather than in a fist.

Poor little Zac! That must be so rough. I can't believe he was terrified of her noises, poor guy. Hope it's getting better for him!
