We had a little party for Zac at a park by our house. The airport was right across the street, so the kids could watch the planes take off and land while they played. We had cupcakes and planned to have ice cream, but the ice cream melted before we got to it.
Zac just lounging with his spoons while we got everything set up.
Dad and the birthday boy by his birthday banner and cake smash pictures.Grandma with the birthday balloons!
Playing with Grandpa Newell
Zac is so blessed to have such fun friends and family that came to his party. This is Cody and Misty. Misty and I were pregnant together at work. Zac and Cody are just 3 weeks apart.
I love this picture of Grandpa Newell and Grandma Mary
What a happy boy little Cody is!
Zac was much more interested in this plate than his presents. Mom did all the present opening this year.
He did stop for a kiss for Clifford.
And to crinkle some cool green tissue paper.
The rest of Misty’s cute family. Misty, Jesse, and Riley.
Tracie, Maggie Grace, and Ryan
This puppy was the only toy he would play with. He LOVES this toy! He laughs and laughs at him. It’s the cutest!
Lexie was my helper writing down who gave Zac what gifts!
Cupcake time! He really wanted to eat that candle! He did the same thing with the candle on his big cake during his cake smash photo shoot.
Once the candle and paper were out of the way, he dug right in!
He had fun playing in the cake, but only like eating it out of my hands. His were much too messy!
The not so fun part… cleaning up!

Zac had a great 1st birthday! We were overwhelmed with all the love and support from so many family and friends! We are so blessed to have such great people in our lives! And this is just some of them! Luke and I can’t thank you enough!

Great blog! Zac is so happy in all the pictures. (until the end) but that's ok. It was a big day! He sure has lots of people that love him! Wow! 1 year old. I remember when you turned 1 and we had your birthday at the Centerfield church/park. How time flies!
