Mecham Christmas Party 2011

Every year my blog for the Mecham Christmas Party always start with pictures from our visit to Grandma Chiyo’s before the party.  She’s not even a Mecham.  Why don’t I separate these posts?  Eh, it’s just a part of the whole day.  Grandma Chiyo’s,  then the party.  It’s a combo deal.  I also think it’s funny that the pictures seem to start with Ash and Kev on the couch with one of my kiddos. 

It took Zac a minute to warm up, so Dad got some short cuddle time.

This picture is so funny to me.  Grandma is laughing so hard at something and Lucy and Brogan in the back are like “What is going on?!”

I made Lucy’s dress and headband.  The boots are our favorites from Aunt Ashley and the pink lace leggings are one of the first things I bought for Lucy.

Zac hates pictures with his Sis.  He’s always trying to escape.  And look how much Lucy loves him.  She gets so excited when he gets close to her.

And now the Mecham Party.  Lucy with her Great, Great Grandma Bernitta.

Avrie brought friendship bracelets to give to all her cousins.  She even shared with Zac.  He’s pretty cool for a boy.

Of course, Lucy needed one too!

It was way too big for her wrist, so it got to go on the flower on her headband.  The girls thought it was hilarious!

Hayden was so cute!  She wanted to hold the baby with the cute pink boots.  She’s a great big sister and is obviously a pro with the babies!

Getting ready to sit on Santa’s lap.  I don’t know why I think this picture is funny.  I look like I’m all excited to make him sit on the scary guy’s lap and he’s saying “Dad, save me!”

Lucy spit up right before her photo op with Santa.  She’s getting cleaned up.  Zac’s trying not to smile as we leaned in to Luce.  He does love her.  Even though he hides it sometimes. 

Avrie was so funny.  Her necklace lights up and she planned it to turn on for Santa as she sat on his lap.  Cute girl.

Bald Buddies

Kjerstin, Sophie, Lucy, and Me.  Lucy is my little runt and Sophie is a chunk.  Sophie is younger and bigger than Luce.

5 Generations.  Great, Great Grandma Bernitta, Great Grandma Mary, Grandma Shelley, Mom, and Lucy.

Zac started telling everyone “Bye Bye”, so we took his lead and headed home. 

Here he is in the back seat praising God.  He especially loves one song called “Praise God” by Steele Croswhite and raises his hands while he sings.  We love it!
