Fireworks!

We got ourselves some fireworks and headed to Grandma and Grandpa’s to let them off.  We started before dark so we could get Zac home before it was really late.  Max and Julie joined us and we had a great time!

Not quite sure what to think.  He didn’t hate them, but wasn’t totally fascinated either.

Charlie and Faye brought their new puppy, Joey.

Zac loved him!  Ever since this night, he’s been so excited when he sees a dog, even on TV.  He says “Hiiiiiiii!”

Charlie is clearly terrified of sparklers.

We were starting to think Charlie was going to light the neighborhood on fire or at least himself.  He kept lighting these and seeing how long he could hold them.  And also stacking the fireworks to “give them extra height” and letting them off.  They’d tip over and be shooting right towards us every time he tried. 

Zac finally just laid on me and let us know it was time to go home to bed.
