We always go to Grandma Darlene's on Christmas Eve for a party.
This year was my favorite. Grandma rounded us all up in her tiny little front room and asked the kids what Christmas is all about. Zac raised his hand, but was to shy to answer. So, Lucy did. "Jesus!" And Lucy told everyone that Jesus slept in the manger. It was refreshing to hear and talk about Jesus in the midst of presents and craziness that Christmas parties bring. I loved it.
Grandma gives us cash before Christmas and lets us pick a gift and bring it wrapped.
Lucy got a new Christmas book, "Song of the Stars" by Sally Lloyd-Jones. It's my new favorite.
This page makes me cry. "The one who made us has come to live with us!"
Zac got a new children's devotional, "Grace for the Moment" by Max Lucado. He loves reading my devotional with me at breakfast and was so excited to have one of his own. And it's blue. His favorite.
