Sneaking a peak at his Christmas presents.
Sitting all by her self. It was a quick balance.
Dad left the car seats at home so we could go to the doctor to get Zac’s stitches out. He loves playing with the buckles.
“Would you like a binky in your eye?”
“Ok fine, I guess I’ll put it in your mouth”. It took awhile, but he finally has started going for her mouth. Funny that he always aimed for her eyes.
Pretty girl playing by the Christmas tree.
This was the first time we got the play mat out. Zac must have remembered it. He had to check every little piece out again.
I laugh at Zac everyday. He was just walking around like this one day.
His favorite drawer. The lid drawer. He empties it daily. He knows it’s one of the two drawers he’s allowed to play in and doesn’t get in the ones he’s not supposed to. The lids and the dish rag drawer right above it are his to make a mess out of. (This has since stopped. We couldn’t handle the mess anymore! It didn’t even faze him when we started saying no touch.)
Trying to sit in the bumbo. He loves to sit in this when Lucy isn’t. It was pretty entertaining to watch him try to get in it right. There is a video at the bottom.
He was especially excited to see his car seat in the house.
Working on the buckles takes lots of concentration.
Running back and forth in the kitchen happily yelling.
We have taught Zac that he needs to say “Up please” when he wants up, instead of whining. He says it so cute! Sounds like Pu Pu. Up backwards and the p sound for please. He sometimes is a little stubborn (especially with Dad) and refuses to say it, which causes him to get frustrated. He’s learning that whining is not going to get us to lift him up. He is getting good at asking nicely to get up, please.
Working so hard to sit in the bumbo the right way. I love when he tries to straddle it and walk over backwards. And I love it when he finally asks for help.
