Wow! Lucy is 2 months old. Her little personality is coming out. She’s such a sweet girl.
She doesn’t make much noise. Even when she cries, it sounds more like grunting than a big wail. It’s like she wants to let out a big scream, but not much comes out. She has started to try to coo a little bit. It always surprises me when a sweet little noise comes out, because I’m not used to hearing her voice. I love it when I hear it.
She is great at smiling now! It’s so much fun. She loves being talked to and gives us great big open mouth grins. Zac likes to talk to her to make her smile too. If he hears me, he’ll come help me make her smile. She loves to smile at him too. And she loves her Daddy’s voice.
She still gets swaddled at night when she sleeps. She likes it, but doesn’t love it like Zac did.
She has always been a great sleeper, only getting up once in the night since she came home (with a few exceptions, of course). The past week she has been making it from about 10-5 and one morning slept til Luke’s alarm went off at 6! Amazing!
She’s a great eater. I’m sure that helps with her being a great sleeper.
She likes to play on her back and flails her arms and legs around. She likes tummy time too. She has rolled herself over from her back to her tummy twice. And gets so close to rolling from her tummy to her back by kicking her legs so hard. Her arms just get in the way and stop her from rolling.
She likes her binky. Zac is a big helper and grabs her binky and tries to give it to her when she’s crying.
She’s a cuddle bug. She likes to cuddle real close to me and fall asleep. I love it!
She has Mama radar. Luke says that if we are out and I run in to the store and they wait in the car that as soon as I get out of the car she starts crying and the second I get back in the car she stops.
She is such an easy baby. We are blessed that we have two mellow babies. We thought Zac was easy, and so far she may be even easier. God is good!
Lucy’s 2 month stats are… Height 21 1/2 inches (8th %), Weight 8 lbs. 12 oz. (8th %), Head 38 cm. (30th %).
I asked Luke for a diaper. He gave me one of Zac’s. I was cracking up that it went clear up to her neck.

Wow, still sooo tiny! Do you need any size two diapers? I have two packs, because Jennsen grew out of them in a matter of weeks. Let me know. Not sure what brand you like - they are huggies. I could bring them on Friday if you are going to Gpa's.
