Saturday before Easter, we spent the day with the Morrison’s going from Easter Egg Hunt to Easter Egg Hunt. We had a very busy day, but it was nice and productive! Our small group is reading “The One Thing You Can’t Do in Heaven”. We are learning how to share the Gospel. So on Saturday, we were busy handing out invitations to Easter Services at church. Luke had a tournament that day, but was able to make it to the first egg hunt in South Jordan with us. The kids got to join in on the hunt and then we passed out invites on the way out. Miss Marley in all the chaos! Look at all those kids! And that was just the 3-4 year olds!
Jamison, Little Phoebe, Dane, Samuel, and Marley
Herriman Egg Hunt we got a slice of pizza after the hunt. Zac got to munch on his new favorite rice cracker. He loves that he gets to hold it by himself.
Dane and Samuel eating their pizza on the rocks.
We took a break at their house. Marley was so cute with Zac. She asked if she could feed Zac when she saw I had his bottle ready. I laid Zac between us on the couch and she held the bottle. She was so excited! She kept saying, “I never get to do this! My mom always feeds Phoebe.” Her mom is still nursing. She is so sweet. She just kept rubbing Zac’s head and talking to him.
Zac and Phoebe are buddies. She is just over a month older than him.
And he finally crashed on the way to the Riverton Egg Hunt. He stayed asleep until they blew the whistle for the hunt to start. Poor guy only got a few 5 minute naps all day. He’s a trooper. This egg hunt was put on by another church. They did a carnival and the funds went to their youth mission trip. It was fun to see some friends from church here.
We watched Luke play a couple holes from the car on our way home until Zac started screaming. We made it home for about a half hour, before meeting my Mom and Ashley at Target. Zac loves his home. He gets so happy when he sees his toys waiting for him. I sat down for a minute and was sure I was going to fall asleep! That was a lot of running around for a pregnant mama! Jamison is also prego. I’m so excited to have babies close together with her again! We were both exhausted! And the day was only half over. This is Zac’s new cheesy smile. It’s the cutest. You can see all his teeth and his nose gets all scrunched up. I was so excited to finally get a picture of it!
After Target, we ran home to pick up Luke and headed downtown to church. It was all worship with Steele, who is amazing! We love his music. He’s also one of the pastor’s. Sherry and Randal sat by us. Zac was so funny. He kept petting Randal’s arm. Sherry was loving watching him clap. Sometimes his hands would connect and sometimes they wouldn’t. haha She loved it. It was a fun night and so good to be home and in bed for the night!
