The day after Zac climbed on the dining chairs, I went to get him out of bed and found him like this!
STANDING ON HIS CHANGING TABLE! When I found him he was all proud and happy. I put him up there for a picture and he was so mad and probably confused because I told him that was a no and then put him on there. My mistake. You can see that he loves to throw all of his blankets and pillows and bears out of his bed when he’s awake.
I was all worried about him doing it again during his nap, so I spied on him until he fell asleep. He kept taking his favorite blanket of by the changing table and laying his head on the edge standing up. I could just imagine him thinking about climbing up there again.
Here’s a video I snuck of him playing. He falls down towards the end and stayed down until he fell asleep.
My whole day was thrown off worrying about him climbing back up there. It was a day that Luke was gone all day and not home until late that night, so I couldn’t switch beds or turn the crib into a toddler bed without him. Zac was a stinker all day. He could probably sense my stress! I got out a set of puzzles I stashed after Christmas. He was excited for a new toy and entertained til bedtime. He loved the wire rack that holds the puzzles much better than the actual puzzles.
He loves to give kisses through things (like the neck hole while putting a shirt on, or between the stair rails). I love his kisses!
“Oooh, it can go around my leg.”
This silly girl has found her tongue.
An update on the bed. He didn’t ever try to climb out of the crib again. He’s great about not repeating the same thing over after learning it is a no. We have just switched him to a toddler bed now. It is now the end of March and he climbed out February 1st.
