He’s a Big Boy!

We had an eventful last couple of weeks! 

Zac got his first tooth January 29th (just shy of 6 months old).  The second one is right behind it.  It’s been popping up and down for nearly 2 weeks now and it is no fun for baby or mommy!

He learned to roll from his back to his belly!  Now he knows how to roll both ways, but forgets how or refuses to roll from his belly to his back. 

He can get up on all fours ready to crawl.  He can move backwards, but not forward yet.  In the video he tries real hard, but doesn’t actually make it up.  I thought I had a good one.  Oh well.

He’s a sturdy sitter upper. 

He does something new everyday.  It’s so much fun!  He’s such a happy boy and loves laughing, especially at his Daddy.  Dad comes home and he gets so excited.  They play and laugh and laugh. 

He is binky free!  It became more of a toy to him than anything, so I figured taking it away sooner than later would be easier.

Zac’s 6 month check up was on the 8th and he is still a big boy. 

19.7 lbs 85%, 27 inches long 75%, and his head measured 90%.

The doctor was very impressed with how well he is doing developmentally.  He was surprised how well he could sit on his own without leaning forward to balance.  And he was basically standing/balancing on his own.  He’s a strong little guy!
