Family Walk

We still can’t get over how tiny Lucy is.  I love how she still curls up in a little ball and cuddles.

We let Zac roam around outside.  We need to teach him to hold our hand and walk so he’s used to that.  He was not liking the idea of not having his freedom.

After he walked on his own for a minute, we put him in the stroller and Lucy in the Moby Wrap and went for a walk.  It was such a fun night and great weather!

Walkin’ in His New Shoes

Man, I love this boy!  Luke went to get him up from a nap and found him with his shirt pulled off one arm.

He loves his shoes!  He went without for so long, because for one he wasn’t walking yet and also because his feet were to fat to fit any shoes on them.  He didn’t get to wear any of his size 3’s, because his feet were to chubby from the top to bottom.  Now that he’s walking we had to find some.  He jumped to a size 5 already!  As soon as he sees his shoes he brings them to us to put on him.

“Ummm, Mom you forgot to put my pants on!”

Dad put one of his hats on Zac.  He loved it!  He wants to be just like Daddy.

I let Zac walk outside on his own for the first time.  He thought it was so fun.  He had a hard time on the little slope, but kept getting right back up.

Zac Loves His Sissy

Zac is the sweetest brother!  He’s not afraid of Lucy anymore and is very concerned when she’s upset.  He comes to check on her when she cries to make sure he’s ok.

We’ve been taking short walks to the mail.  I wrap Lucy up and it’s so easy to push Zac in the stroller.  She gets so cozy and sleeps so good in the Moby Wrap.

I thought I’d try to get a picture of the two of them together.  I was sure Zac would not like her sitting on his lap in the stroller.  To my surprise he sat there like he was just loving it. 

I’m so thankful that Zac loves his sister so much now.  It definitely took some adjusting to a new family member, but now things are great with a new sister!  Zac was still testing his limits with Mom and Dad.  He was trying to touch things he knows he’s not supposed to just to see if he can get away with it.  We’re just glad that he is showing us that he loves Lucy now!

Checking out his sis.  He likes to come tug on her fingers and toes and clothes and blankets when she’s laying down.

I love coming down and seeing Daddy playing with his girl.

Zac spilled his cup of Cheerios and acted like it was no biggie.  “Don’t worry, Mom, I’ll have these eaten in no time.”

So sweet.  Still just sleepy smiles.

Zac and Lucy have the best Daddy!  Having story time while I made dinner.
